Representing the City of
Bothell
Sustainability Ambassador since
Winter 2023
Elaina is a sophomore at Inglemoor High School, and her passion for the environment and youth advocacy runs deep. She is thoroughly involved with local Model UN conferences, attending as a delegate or serving as a staff or secretariat member. She advocates for sustainable practices in her community by promoting smart consumer culture and reducing waste in daily life. Her future ambitions include serving as a youth advocate in local government for the environment and helping people make smarter, more climate-conscious choices. Some of her interests outside of school include her musicianship in and outside of school, where she works with a nonprofit called Student Music Initiatives raising money for the American Cancer Society by bringing together her community with music. She hopes to use her experience as a part of the Model UN community, the youth musician community, and the Sustainability Ambassadors community to pursue a career in environmental science and environmental policy. She plans on continuing her work with Sustainability Ambassadors sharing her voice and advocating for her generation and her planet.
