The Future of Energy Markets

BIO:  Laura McCarty  - Local-E   |  Ms. McCarty is an Energy Trading/Risk Management Systems Consultant.  She has over 30 years’ experience in software implementation and integration with 20 of those years in the energy industry, particularly in the Energy Trading and Risk Management space.  She has worked for two of the “Big 5” Management Consultancies – Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and Deloitte Consulting.  She has worked with large and small utilities and energy marketers in assessing, selecting, implementing energy trading and risk management (ETRM) software systems and Wholesale Market implementation projects.  She is also founding a new company to encourage the support of solar energy in the local community.
