Bike to School!
May is Bike Month where everyone is encouraged to enjoy the great spring weather by breaking out the bike!
Why Bike? Bikes are a zero-emissions method of transportation that is perfect for the sunny weather, a great start to the day, and significantly reduce your carbon footprint.
Make an Impact
It's Bike Month and time to get yourself and your peers on their bikes! Use our Bike to School Template to learn about the benefits and carbon savings you could see by switching your commute to school in a car to a bike. Check out Ambassador Shivani at Pine Lake Middle School and get inspired by all these students who are already biking everyday. Watch the Video.
Want to make a Bigger Impact? Set up your own campaign at your school and challenge your fellow students to get out there and bike with you. Our Ambassador Diya did it at Timberline Middle School and doubled the amount of students who usually bike! See how she did it and her Video.

Observed on June 3 and established by the United Nations, World Bicycle Day recognizes cycling as an affordable, sustainable, and healthy mode of transportation. It highlights the bicycle’s role in expanding access to education, employment, and mobility while reducing environmental impact. Take the opportunity to ride, advocate for safer infrastructure, and support cycling in your community.
What about E-bikes?
E-bikes are an awesome tool to help you conquer hilly terrain, get around quick, and still participate in climate action. It is important to know the difference between an E-bike and an electric motorcycle. Here is how you tell the difference. Riding an E-bike is legal and encouraged, however an electric motorcycle must be registered, endorsed, and can only be driven by a licensed driver.
