Join the Competition
School vs School
If you are a tenacious middle schooler, high schooler, teacher, or club leader, you can enter your school to compete with other Middle Schools or High Schools in the "School vs School competition" for a chance to win prizes by besting your rival schools.
Here is how you enter:
1. Assign a team leader. This person will keep track of each competing student and their Bingo Boards using this tracking sheet. Make a copy for your team and get familiar with the rules on tab one. Notify us that you’re joining the competition through an email to info@sustainabilityambassadors.org
2. Play Transit Bingo! Between March 1st and Earth Day (April 22nd) get as many people at your school and their families to take public transit.
3. Turn in your Sheet! Send us your final tracking sheet and team Bingo Boards by April 23rd and we will release the results and award our winners the last week of April! Send your final sheet to info@sustainabilityambassadors.org
4. Winners get announced! Winners will be determined by calculating the points per capita of participating students at your whole school. Go for a BLACKOUT!
Spanish Classroom Challenge
Are you a teacher of a Spanish Language Class? Help your students build conversational skills, expand their vocabulary, and learn more about public transportation by playing Spanish Transit Bingo. If you play during March 1st to April 22nd your class could win prizes!
Here is how you enter:
1. Assign yourself or a student in your class as team leader. This person will keep track of each competing student and their Bingo Boards using this tracking sheet. 2. Play Transit Bingo! Between March 1st and Earth Day (April 22nd) get as much of your classes to play using Spanish Bingo Boards below.
3. Incorporate these resources into your class. See this Sustainable Transportation lesson for vocabulary, definitions, worksheets, and inquiries for your students to build their language skills in class. See the collection on our Lessons Page.

2050 Transportation Design Conference
Are you a member of DECA or FBLA? We are partnering with local chapters of FBLA and DECA to host the first ever 2050 Sustainable Transportation Design Conference on March 21st 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Here students will organize into teams, receive a prompt to design our future transportation system, design their solution with the help of professional coaches, and present their solution using creative visual aids.
Here is how you join:
1. Talk to your DECA or FBLA advisor to get involved, and apply to join here.
2. Build your team of 3-6 students. Download the Transit Bingo Board for your city and get at least one Bingo for your entrance ticket. (Limited to 10 teams.)
3. Get Bingo, enter the conference, and design our future!

How To Play
1. Review the competition instructions above, then download the Bingo Board for your city below.
2. Start playing! Each time you complete a transit challenge you can mark off the corresponding tile, each tile is worth 1 point. Never taken transit below? Use this tutorial to find you way!
3. Get your data! Track how many miles you travel each trip and take a photo on transit!

You can take a picture on transit with a thumbs-up in the frame.

You can take a picture of your shoes while standing on the light rail or bus.

Take a picture of your view from transit with a peace-sign in frame.

Any creative shot featuring you taking public transportation!
4. Go for Bingo! Get any 5 tiles in a row to get a Bingo, there are 12 Bingo opportunities on the board, each Bingo adds 5 additional points to your score.
5. Go for a BLACKOUT! Get up to 100 points by completing every challenge on the board.5. Once you have completed your Bingo Board, enter your data on Tab 2: Tracking Sheet of your team’s spreadsheet and see your impact.
6. Send your completed Bingo Board and your photo to your team leader to validate your points. Competition closes Earth Day, April 22nd! Tracking sheets need to be turned in by the 23rd for entry in the competition.
7. Playing Solo? Follow the steps below to secure volunteer hours for your climate action!
a. Submit a selfie of you on public transit, a copy of your filled in Bingo Board, and your Transit Bingo story, to this google form. We will check this form to make sure it is completed and notify you of the Volunteer Hours you've earned.
b. For your first Bingo you can earn 3 Volunteer Hours, each additional Bingo is worth 1 more Volunteer Hour. Got a BLACKOUT? You can add another 6 Volunteer Hours for a total 20 hours.
