About the Event

You have the power to design, track, and report impact that directly aligns with and advances your city’s Climate Action Plan. This is real. It's easier than you think. And it's more important than ever for you to use your voice for positive action to reduce the impact of climate change right here at home, at school, and in your community.

In this workshop, you will learn how to design your own Impact Project, track your actual impact, and report to stakeholders who need to know. You will also learn about some fun and creative Impact Storytelling techniques so that when you generate measurable impact, you can shout it out through multiple platforms. Follow us on INSTAGRAM and TIKTOK to see how we are doing this.

Here’s how you can earn Community Service Hours. (1) Attend and fully participate in the online training. (No hours are awarded just for attending this training. It must be combined with submitting a quality impact project with actual impact data.) (2) On your own time, choose one of the Impact Projects from our website or use the model to make your own. (3) Write up your plan and align it with a specific action on your City’s Climate Action Plan. (4) Implement your plan. (5) Prove your impact with data. (6) Share your impact story and platform choice. Exemplary Impact Projects will be posted on our website as a model for other students.  Let’s do this!
