Graphic Design for a Sustainable Future

How can we use infographics to advance a sustainable future? Workshop participants will be learning critical content related to sustainable community conditions at the same time they are applying visual communication strategies to better communicate those conditions and what people can do to improve them. We will work on three tasks. First, we will analyze a curated collection of great graphics driving local sustainable stories. Second, we will identify needs for improving infographic communication related to community sustainability data on the websites of our city, and school district. Third, we will develop a series of design challenges for ongoing applied learning in sustainability, content creation, and stakeholder engagement.
