Yifei (preferred name Ethan) is a senior at the University of Washington, majoring in Community, Environment & Planning (CEP), minoring in Digital Arts and Experimental Media (DXARTS). He’s an international student from Shenyang (northeast China), where the local environmental and urban planning policies and issues give him some unique perspectives and experience in urban planning learning.
He joins Sustainability Ambassadors to pursue further development in urban planning skills, inspirations on academic capstone project, as well as to pay his effort on issues that matters, and to work with a group that can make a true difference in making the world better.
Ethan is currently the chair of UW’s College of Built Environment Student Council, and a member of CEP’s Headlight committee – a group of CEP students who determines long term plans and directions for the major. He’s also working part-time at UW’s Local Point dining hall, as a student dinning assistant, and will be promoted to student coordinator (a student-worker management position) in the coming September.
