Mara Munkhjargal

Mara Munkhjargal is currently a senior at the University of Washington, majoring in Environmental Studies with a focus on environmental sustainability. She is passionate about sustainability advocacy, community engagement, and promoting youth-centered approaches to climate action. Mara is particularly interested in utilizing content marketing to promote sustainable consumption behaviors and foster positive change. During her time at UW, Mara has deepened her commitment to environmental and social impact through hands-on experiences in community engagement and collaborative projects. She has also had the opportunity to explore the fields of environmental consulting and impact assessment, which has strengthened her interest in pursuing a career that bridges policy, communication, and environmental justice. Mara joined Sustainability Ambassadors to connect with like-minded peers, amplify youth voices in climate solutions, and contribute her skills to projects that make a real difference. She is excited to continue growing as a sustainability leader and to help empower the next generation of change makers.
