Khadeja Jangana

Deja is a passionate environmental advocate. At the heart of her work is environmental justice; ensuring that all communities regardless of race, ethnicity, income, and other social statuses are able to live in climate resilient communities. 

Since 2022, Deja has worked on and off at Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands. At the farm she helps lead a cohort of high school students each season to learn about organic farming practices, local food systems, and wetland restoration. She is passionate about youth development and ensuring that young people feel empowered to make change in their community. She is driven by the power of impact and improvement.
