Bella Roche

As a high school student, Bella Roche believes that young people play a crucial role in shaping a more sustainable and equitable future. She has been involved in sports and volunteer-based clubs throughout her life and currently runs Varsity track, plays girls soccer and flag football, and serves on the board of Issaquah High School’s Eco Club and the Business, Engineering, Science, and Tech (BEST) Club. Bella also has a deep love for music—whether she’s listening in class, singing while doing homework, or performing with friends in Issaquah High School’s Chamber Orchestra. Through music, she has seen how even the smallest note, when combined with others, can create something powerful and meaningful. She joined Sustainability Ambassadors with that same mindset and looks forward to collaborating with her peers to help her community grow in more sustainable ways. Growing up hiking and exploring the beautiful scenery of the Pacific Northwest inspired her love for nature and her desire to protect it. Bella dreams of traveling the world and hopes to continue sharing her passion for environmental sustainability with the people she meets along the way.
