Mia Pardini
Communications Fellow

Mia is a senior at the University of Washington, majoring in Environmental Studies and minoring in Climate Science and Political Science. Mia has always loved nature, but discovered her deeper passion for the environment when she took an AP Environmental Science class in high school, and has pursued it academically and professionally ever since. She has worked with various nonprofits such as Earth Day, League of Conservation Voters, and Our Climate. She has worked on issues ranging from international energy research to local environmental policy issues. For her senior year Capstone, she is interning with Climate Impacts Group and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), doing ecotoxicology and policy research. She has done social media and video editing since her sophomore year of high school, and is delighted to work on content and projects that support the environmental movement. She hopes to pursue a career in state-level environmental regulations and communications. The importance of environmental education to her career pathway initially drew her to Sustainability Ambassadors, and she is super excited to develop creative, impactful environmental communication to grow and connect with the Sustainability Ambassadors community!
