Cassandra Baer
Project Manager

Cassandra Baer is a mom of two, a changemaker for regenerative systems, and a founding member of Sustainability Ambassadors. Inspired as a high school freshman by her mentor, Peter, she co-founded the program, helping it reach thousands of students, teachers, and community leaders. She now returns as an Ambassador alumna to share her knowledge, mentorship, and experience.
Trained in Sustainable Systems Design and Business with a focus on Ecological Agriculture, Cassandra has spent over a decade teaching hands-on, nature-based curricula for all ages. She began as an intern, creating the organization’s first internship program, then became Student Leadership Coordinator, overseeing 70 interns, coaching over 100 students, and engaging more than 5,000 community members through events, workshops, and seminars. Her expertise in storytelling, public speaking, and media drives community change and inspires youth leadership.
Today, Cassandra lives on a homestead in North Carolina, building an intergenerational Nature and Farm School and cultivating a food forest. She also works remotely with organizations in the Pacific Northwest as a Regenerative Leadership Coach, helping businesses and nonprofits grow their impact and income in alignment with their values. When she’s not working, Cassandra can be found exploring the woods with her children or practicing acrobatic yoga, blending movement, play, and connection with nature into her daily life.
