About the Event

Participants will be immersed in a series of PBL lesson frameworks including (1) mapping my watershed address, 2) analyzing equity demographic maps; (3) analyzing case studies of environmental engineering for improved salmon habitat, (4) designing neighborhood-scale green stormwater infrastructure improvements, and (5) establishing adopt-a-site pedagogies for engaging students in hands-on ecological restoration near their school. Participants will gain skills in facilitating the impact project design process including engaging stakeholders, impact data tracking, and impact storytelling. The Lab convenes teachers, student leaders, and subject matter experts from industry, government, and nonprofit sectors to ensure a rich learning exchange.
