About the Event
For teachers and students who love to visualize information. $200 Stipend for pre-approved teachers who commit to building an Application Plan. Limited to 20 secondary teachers who love curriculum design. Priority registration given to teacher champions from Bellevue, LWSD, Issaquah, Tukwila, and Tacoma.
This is a fun, practical, curriculum design lab where teachers who love graphic design and top students from the Sustainability Ambassadors Leadership Development Program (who also love graphic design) team up to explore visual data communications that point us to a more sustainable future. With an emphasis on local solutions relevant to students in the neighborhoods and cities where they live, our Design Lab will focus on Water Systems. We’ll apply graphic design skills to analyze how artists convey technical information to key stakeholders using a wide range of specially curated infographics that will serve as models for your students.
