About the Event

For teachers and students who love infographics

Explore visual data communications that point us to a more sustainable future with an emphasis on local solutions relevant to water systems, climate change and climate justice. We will apply graphic design skills to analyze how artists convey technical information to key stakeholders using a wide range of specially curated infographics that will serve as models for your students. We’ll unpack the design choices for data visualization in drinking water supply, stormwater solutions, wastewater treatment, salmon recovery, tribal treaty rights, and equity data applied to our local communities. We’ll explore career-connected learning opportunities for graphic designers, social media managers, and communication strategists, and the role they play in growing our local green economy.

WHAT YOU GET

Classroom set of infographics with lessons for student analysis.

Student Project Templates with lessons for inspiring Impact Project Design.
