About the Event

Part of an ongoing Wednesday Webinar Series interacting with local experts on sustainable solutions to climate change. STEM Clock Hours can be earned by registering for any two (or more!) webinars. In this webinar we will explore architectural and engineering design innovations for green buildings with local case studies for students to analyze and compare. In this informal and interactive learning exchange, we are going to be asking some intriguing questions. FOR EXAMPLE: How can we design new homes and buildings to be net zero energy and water? How can we retrofit existing homes and buildings to be as sustainable AND affordable as possible? Who is working on the greenest possible school buildings in our region? Can green building strategies advance equity outcomes? Invited experts include architects, engineers, policy and design advocates, city and county staff working on green building, affordable housing, climate justice.  Join us!
