For CTE educators and all teachers committed to career-connected learning, Expert Topic Webinars are offered quarterly and feature a deep exploration of one career cluster at a time within the broad framework of educating for sustainability (not just about it). Our Fall focus, in conversation with professionals from the field, is on what’s new in Environmental Science and Engineering. What are all of the different career applications in this field? What are the entry-level positions and career pathways to explore? What techniques and practices are being employed to solve the challenges of today? Our conversation will focus on how to sharpen classroom instruction and curate exceptionally rich project cases studies with links back to job types and job skills. The goal is to strengthen the local relevance of classroom learning and catalyze student interest in green jobs youth pathways.
