CTE Regional Advisory Community - Educating for Sustainability

Sustainability Ambassadors is developing a Regional, Career, Technology, Education (CTE) Learning Community in collaboration with CTE Departments across King County to engage in mutual professional development, curriculum resource curation, and instructional support for CTE educators through an Annual Rhythm based on the Principles of Educating for Sustainability with a focus on Green Jobs Youth Pathways.

Sustainability Ambassadors will cultivate, convene, and support a professional learning community of CTE Teachers from across traditional career clusters, alongside a cadre of exceptional Sustainability Professionals who are not only specialists in their field, but committed to building learning relationships with schools, sharing career pathway insights, industry trends, case studies, prototypes and tipping points, and providing feedback on instructional strategies.

This Workshop will serve as a “Community Kick Off” for an annual rhythm of programming to be developed by the participants.
