Syna Gupta

Syna is a student at the Overlake School. She grew up in the Bay Area, where the effects of a changing climate have been clearly visible both now and in the past, and is now passionate about solving the problem that affects so many lives. She believes that integrating green technology into our everyday routine is the solution to our carbon footprint. In the future, Syna plans to pursue a career green engineering and design, and currently hopes to strengthen her impact and make a change. This goal inspired her to initially join the Bellevue Youth Climate Action Team. She later applied to Sustainability Ambassadors. As an Ambassador, she wants to spread awareness and interest about the climate issue, and learn more about ways to tackle it effectively.
