Riddhima Das is a member of the Class of 2028 at Lake Washington High School. She joined Sustainability Ambassadors to become more involved in local climate policy. Riddhima works at King County's Executive Climate Office (ECO) in the Climate Equity Community Task Force (CECTF) working advancing regional climate initiatives. She is a member of the Seattle Aquarium's Youth Ocean Advocates (YOA) program, where she educates the public on marine science and conservation, teaches and takes Continuing Education classes (CEs), and contributes to the student-run policy and social media initiative, Puget Sound We Love You. At school, she is part of FFA, a club centered around agricultural education. In the 2024-2025 school year, she competed in Horse Evaluations (7th at state, Team), Agricultural Education (7th at state, Individual), and F.A.R.M. for Kids (5th at state, Team). Next year, she will serve as the Chapter Secretary. Riddhima writes poetry in her free time. Her work has been displayed at The Center for Wooden Boats and is currently at the Seattle Office of Arts and Culture. Her poetry has also been recognized by the Pulitzer Center and the Saint Mary's College of California. In the future, she would like to work in marine policy and genetics.
