Sammamish

Sustainability Ambassador since

Summer 2026

Mehr is a rising sophomore who is passionate about healthcare equity, medicine, and building healthier communities through service and sustainability. Her interest in the connection between environmental and human health began after a research project on the impact of air pollution on cardiovascular disease in low-income communities. She continues exploring this field through research on the use of medicinal plants as supplements to conventional treatments.

Mehr joined Sustainability Ambassadors to advocate for solutions that improve environmental and public health while promoting a more equitable future.

Beyond Sustainability Ambassadors, she serves as the Regional Coordinator for her school’s American Red Cross Club and is involved in DECA, HOSA, and ASB, where she develops her leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, playing volleyball, and dancing. She hopes to pursue a career in medicine focused on research, compassionate care, and reducing healthcare disparities.
