Sustainability Ambassador since

Fall 2020

Katelyn has been an ambassador since 6th grade, working to improve the sustainability and climate awareness of her home and community. She also serves on the City of Bothell Climate Action Planning Committee. She is passionate about service, looking to give back in everything she does. Aside from Sustainability Ambassadors, she is involved in Key Club, serving as the PNW District Secretary, as well as participating in HOSA and Future Problem Solving. Katelyn is also very interested in healthcare, participating as a COPE Junior Health Scholar and interning at the Seattle Children's Research Institute. In the future, Katelyn plans to double major in Biology and Environmental Science and pursue medical school.


Currently, Katelyn is working on multiple personal impact projects, including hang-drying clothes and reducing plastic consumption. She is also working with her school administration to facilitate campaigns such as Turn Off the Lights Day and Carbon Commute Count to educate her peers.
