Janav Mehta

Janav Mehta is part of the graduating year of 2027 of Lake Washington High School. with a growing interest in leadership, sustainability, and making real-world impact. He’s been involved in several school clubs, including Green Team, DECA, and Key Club, each giving him different opportunities to build teamwork, serve his community, and develop his voice. He volunteers to tutor children mathematics at rose hill elementary. It was through Green Team that Janav first discovered his passion for environmental action and civic engagement. What started as a way to contribute to his school environment became something bigger.  Janav joined Sustainability Ambassadors because he wanted to take his work beyond the walls of his school. While Green Team allowed him to create change locally, he was motivated to make a broader impact, helping the entire Pacific Northwest become more sustainable and resilient.    Janav hopes to pursue a career in business, ideally one that blends innovation and sustainability. He believes that combining entrepreneurial thinking with environmental responsibility is key to building a better world. Through Sustainability Ambassadors, he’s ready to grow as a change maker, collaborate with others, and make a difference that lasts.
