Jacob Youssef is a sophomore at Skyline High School who is committed to leadership, community engagement, and creating meaningful impact. He developed an interest in service and advocacy through his involvement in student leadership and experiences working directly within his local community. Jacob believes that young people have a responsibility to stay aware of the challenges around them and take action that leads to lasting change.  Jacob currently serves on the Associated Student Body and as Vice President of his sophomore class, where he works to represent his peers and help organize initiatives within his school. Prior to high school, he served as President of the National Junior Honor Society and ASB Vice President, strengthening his foundation in leadership and accountability.  Outside of school, Jacob enjoys playing basketball, staying active, and spending time outdoors. He also participates in community outreach efforts that have helped him better understand the importance of connection and responsibility within a community.  Jacob hopes to pursue a future career in law, focusing on policy and advocacy to help build stronger and more sustainable systems. He believes programs like Sustainability Ambassadors give students the opportunity to think beyond short-term solutions and take part in creating long-term impact within their communities.
