Ishan Mani

Ishan Mani (he/him) is an 8th-grade student at Timberline Middle School who is excited to use his skills in math and leadership to help the environment. As president of the school’s Money Club, Ishan believes that problem-solving through data is very important for a sustainable future. He joined Sustainability Ambassadors to move beyond changing individual habits and help Redmond achieve a measurable, large-scale impact.   As an avid eater and a competitive badminton and basketball player, Ishan is ready to lead by example. He has benchmarked his carbon footprint at 16 tons and his water footprint at 1,450 gallons/day. He is also focused on reducing these by practicing the three R's: reduce, reuse, and recycle, as well as community education. Ishan is excited to use the IP3 Strategy to inspire others and work with other leaders to rapidly advance a sustainable future in the city of Redmond.
