Representing the City of

Issaquah

Sustainability Ambassador since

Fall 2026

Inaya is a high school student who is passionate about health, science, writing, and being involved in her community. Some of her experience includes being part of the Bellevue Youth City Council, Skyline's Class Council, and HOSA, where she qualified for the State Leadership Conference. She is also really interested in medical research and health education and is currently working on independent research projects and building a health-focused website. One of her biggest passions is writing, and she has had the opportunity to grow as a writer through programs at the University of Washington. Writing is something she genuinely loves and hopes to continue throughout high school and beyond. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career in medicine and is especially interested in surgery and cardiovascular health.

Outside of school and community involvement, some of Inaya's hobbies include running, skateboarding, mountain biking, baking, and playing violin. She joined Sustainability Ambassadors because she wanted to learn more about issues affecting people and the environment and actually be part of doing something about them. She also wanted to meet other students who care about making a difference and find ways to bring that work into her own school and community. Through Sustainability Ambassadors, she hopes to take part in meaningful projects, learn from the people around her, and grow as a leader while making a real impact.
