Dhanya Srinivasan

Dhanya Srinivasan is a junior at Hazen High School in Renton whose sustainability journey began with a simple observation: a closet full of garments worn exactly once. This experience led her to delve into the environmental effects of waste created by overconsumption and inspired her to advocate for sustainable living. Dhanya wants to pursue a career in engineering to develop biodegradable alternatives and new materials to replace everyday plastics. Dhanya believes that small, mindful habits are the foundation of lasting change and is passionate about promoting a more sustainable future.
