Anna Balta

Anna Balta is a sustainability-oriented Senior at Lincoln High School in Seattle. She

discovered her love of the outdoors at a young age through her parents. Anna loves

backpacking, paddleboarding on any lake near her, skiing and protecting the natural

world. During her high school years, you are likely to find Anna volunteering on a

conservation project or cleaning up a beach on a weekend with friends. Anna strives to

open up ways to be more environmentally conscious in daily life through the

Sustainability Ambassador campaigns. She loves connecting with like-minded youth

doing their part for sustainability. She also loves reading, especially books about history

or the power of individuals and teams of people to make a difference. She is excited to

continue doing her part for our local Pacific Northwest ecosystem, and our planet.
