About the Event
For secondary teachers from all disciplines. Limited to 20 teachers with priority to school districts along Sound Transit LINE 1. This learning experience has three elements: (1) a 3-hour online exploration of case studies, career connections, and curriculum pathways that will take place on Thursday, August 13 from 9:00-12:00 prior to our day on the train; (2) a 6-hour workshop on Friday, August 14 from 9:00-3:00 riding light rail with stops and expert talks along the way; and (3) follow up coaching on curriculum design applications. Selected teachers are paid a $300 stipend for producing and piloting an application plan.
