Brian Anderson | The Boeing Company SUMMARY: In 1943, Boeing Plant 2 was under disguise as a residential neighborhood to protect military aircrafts from bombers. Today, it's a thriving ecosystem thanks to an intensive remediation of the site. From a camouflaged bomber plant that helped win World War II to an invaluable natural habitat, Brian shows us step-by-step how this transformation came to be. BIO: Brian Anderson is an Environmental Remediation Project Manager, now in his 29th year with The Boeing Company. He currently acts as the Remediation Team Lead for Boeing cleanup and restoration efforts in the Duwamish corridor. Brian also represents Boeing on regional and watershed‐wide restoration programs, including the WRIA 9 Watershed Ecosystem Forum and Our Green‐Duwamish Watershed Strategy led by King County. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Pacific Lutheran University, Master of Science in Geology from Baylor University, and is a Registered Professional Geologist in Washington State.
