Sustainability Ambassador since

Summer 2020

Olivia is a 9th grader at Eastside Preparatory School.  After attending the virtual 2050 Food Systems Workout and the Storytelling Masterclass, she joined Sustainability Ambassadors in hopes of helping the environment in creative ways. They were amazed at how Sustainability Ambassadors could work towards a better future while improving each member's speaking skills and confidence. Previously, Olivia had been involved with their middle school’s Green Team and worked on reducing the amount of wasted paper to help their school meet the requirements to become a King County Level 1 Green School.

When Olivia isn't working on creating a greener future, they can be found playing piano, singing, drawing, and writing. Although they aren't sure what they want to be when they grow up, they know they want to change the way people think through music and art. Her water footprint is 1,652 gallons per day, and her carbon footprint is 51 tons per year.  To reduce this, they are taking shorter showers and eating less meat.
