Marielle Huelmann

Class of
2025
Representing the City of
Snoqualmie
Sustainability Ambassador since
Fall 2022
Marielle decided to join Sustainability Ambassadors because she is very passionate about combating climate change by practicing sustainability. She believes that changing even our daily habits can have a huge impact when it comes to living more sustainably. Some of her passions (besides helping the environment of course!) include dancing, traveling, and volunteering at a local animal sanctuary. She also loves spending time out in nature while camping, hiking, paddle boarding, and skiing. She is excited to continue creating positive change through the Sustainability Ambassadors program!
Her water footprint is 1191 gallons of water per day which is more than 30% lower than the national average. She plans to reduce this number by being more conscious of her virtual water usage. Her carbon footprint is 19 tons of CO2 per year which is 44% lower than the national average. She plans to lower this number by walking and biking whenever possible.
Currently, Marielle has completed several different Impact Projects listed on the website and is in the process of creating a couple of new Impact Project templates. In the future, she hopes to help create a Climate Action Plan for her community which does not have one yet!
