Josh Slate

The Sustainability Ambassadors program appealed to my desire to make a tangible impact on my local community, and to my passion of environmental sustainability. I attend Lake Washington High School where I am part of National Honor Society, cross country, track, and DECA. Outside of school, I am involved in the Kirkland Youth Council, a non-profit fundraising program called Giving Initiative for Teens, and work as a teacher's assistant at my temple. Learning new skills excites me and I hope to apply the knowledge I gain to a future career in business or health.
